Learn with Lynda.com
What you need
- Computer or mobile device with internet access.
- Pemberton & District Public Library card.
- The first time you log-in to Lynda.com using your library barcode and password (contact the library if you do not know your password), you’ll be prompted to create an account by entering your first and last name, and an email address. Once logged in, you will see a list of ‘Learning Paths’. Click on your desired Learning Path, and then select the first course in the series to begin learning. Your Lynda account will track your learning and provide certifications for completion!
What kind of content does Lynda.com have?
Lynda grants you unlimited access to online courses and professional-level video instruction to develop your creative and professional skills. Subject areas include computer software, programming, audio and music production, photography, design, marketing, and 3D animation. Courses range from 30 minutes to 18 hours in length.
Accessing Lynda on Mobile Devices
You can also download the Lynda.com app, available for Windows, Apple, and Android desktop and mobile devices. Once downloaded, select “Already a Member” then under the “Organization” tab type in pemberton.bclibrary.ca (under the Web Portal option) and click on Login. You’ll be taken out of the app to login through the website with your library card number and pin. Use the app like you would the website, or download videos for offline viewing.
