Community Book Club

Have you always wanted to join a book club but haven’t had the time for the monthly commitment? Join our Community Book Club!

Everyone is invited to read our monthly selection and join us Thursday of the month at 7 pm for a discussion about the book.

New books will be announced the first week of the month prior to the meeting, to allow plenty of time to read and attain copies (ie, we will announce April’s read the first week of March) and a limited number of copies will be available to borrow on a first-come-first-served basis at the Pemberton Library, beginning the last Thursday of the month (ie April’s book will be available the last Thursday of March).

If you would like to purchase a copy of the book, Armchair Books in Whistler is offering Pemberton Community Book Club members 15% off when you mention the book club.

Audio and eBooks are highly encouraged and are available to borrow on Libby.

Please note: if you are interested in a book in electronic or audio format, make sure to place a hold even if the line-up is long—the more holds there are on a digital item, the more copies the library will purchase.

Next Book Club meeting: Thursday, June 24th
In June we will be meeting in person at the Pemberton & District Public Library, with the option of participating online via Zoom–monthly registration required.
